New Edition Planned for ABCs of Gold Investing
	An new edition on gold investing is in the works. The New ABCs of Gold Investing--Protecting and Building Your Wealth Through Private Gold Ownership,is scheduled for release in the Fall 2004. The author is Mike Kosares, of Centenniel Precious Metals, Denver, Colorado. Addicus Books first published the title (The ABCs of Gold Investing)in 1995.

Library Journal Praises Book on Lumpectomy
	The February 1 issue of Library Journal offers praise for Understanding Lumpectomy--A Treatment Guide to Breast Cancer by oncology nurse Rosalind Benedet, N.P., and radiation oncologist Mark Rounsaville, M.D. The review in part reads, "Variations in diagnoses, treatment, adjuvant therapy (chemotherapy and hormonal therapy), and radiation are presented here in short, easily digested sections with large headings. Offers enough details to take the trepidation out of decision-making."

New Book Series on Divorce is Planned
	Addicus Books is launching a new line of consumer handbooks on divorce. The books will provide answers to commonly asked questions about divorce in a specific state. The first book planned is Divorce in Nebraska--Understandable Answers to Your Legal Questions. Attorney Susan Koenig has been signed to the project.

Author Appears on CNN Headlines News
	Scott Isaacs, M.D., co-author of A Simple Guide to Thyroid Disorders, appeared on CNN Headline News with Kat Carney in early January, 2004. January is National Thyroid Awareness Month. Dr. Isaacs is an endocrinologist in Atlanta. His co-author, Paul Ruggieri, is a surgeon and professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School.

Parkinson's Book to be Published in Spain and Brazil
	Foreign rights for Understanding Parkinson's Disease, by David Cram, M.D., have been sold two publishers: Distribuciones Alfaomega, Madrid Spain, and Ciencia Moderna, Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Both publishers will publish the book in Portuguese. Since his own diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease, Dr. Cram has written four books, including The Healing Touch and Coping with Psoriasis, also published by Addicus Books.
